Crook County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Crook County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (NHMP) assists Crook County communities in reducing risk from natural hazards by identifying resources, information, and strategies for risk reduction, while helping to guide and coordinate mitigation activities throughout Crook County.  COIC is working with Crook County officials to facilitate the update of the NHMP.

Crook County NHMP 2017 Review Process

The 2017 Crook County NHMP review process consists of updating the 2010 version of the Crook County NHMP. The 2017 review process timeline can be found at this link: Crook County NHMP Review Process Timeline

The NHMP Steering Committee will review the 2010 NHMP from February – May 2017 to update the plan with current data and information.  Upon completion of these revisions, a public meeting will be held on June 14 from 6:00-7:00p (location TBA) for public review and comment on the document.

The updated 2017 Crook County NHMP is expected to be complete in June-July 2017.
