Crook County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Crook County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (NHMP) assists Crook County communities in reducing risk from natural hazards by identifying resources, information, and strategies for risk reduction, while helping to guide and coordinate mitigation activities throughout Crook County. COIC is working with Crook County officials to facilitate the update of the NHMP.
Crook County NHMP 2017 Review Process
The NHMP Steering Committee has reviewed the 2010 NHMP from February - June 2017 to update the plan with current data and information. A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 14 from 6:00-7:00p at the Crook County Fire and Rescue Main Station located at 500 NE Belknap St. in Prineville, OR for public review and comment on the document. The 2017 Crook County NHMP review process consists of updating the 2010 version of the Crook County NHMP. The 2017 review process timeline can be accessed at this link: Crook County NHMP Review Process Timeline
The 2017 Crook County NHMP update process is expected to be complete in July 2017.
